Festival of the Arts 2021
Welcomes All!
We are planning a hybrid festival this year — both a LIVE and VIRTUAL Art and Music Show WITH our traditional GALA! Reception & Silent Auction. Of course we will need to adhere to the COVID-19 restrictions then.
On November 5, 6 & 7, our weekend event will include Student and Fine Art Galleries, Artisan Vendors, a return of our Art & Music Virtual Exhibition, with a live Silent Auction throughout. You will experience artists from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond as we offer the opportunity for our artists and musicians to present their work live through the weekend, and continue online in our returning Virtual Exhibition through the holidays, to the end of the year.
Our Open Call will begin soon. Watch for more information on that over the summer.
We are mixing up the best of both worlds LIVE on November 5-6-7, and VIRTUAL through 2021.
COVID-19 forced us to rethink 2021 just like 2020. We want to welcome all who joined us virtually last year and add back our Live Show. We will present the amazing art of so many who apply every year to our live show, while still adhering to the social distancing requirements that help us keep safe AND welcome all artists to our virtual show. By also adding back the virtual element like last year, where we met twice as many artists from Alaska to San Diego, we are able to geographically open our doors to creativity for a longer period. The 2021 Virtual Exhibition Show will remain online through the end of the year.
This year’s live event will take place at the usual location: Charbonneau Country Club, 32000 Charbonneau Dr., Wilsonville, OR 97070
We will be featuring a
Live & Virtual “Music Stage”
Music has been a part of our Art Festival for many years, but it began to play a more important role in 2020 when we introduced at our Virtual Exhibition, the “Music Stage, featuring jazz performers and selected others. We are eager to build on that success in 2021. We also hope to reintroduce live performances at the Festival, and we are hard at work on a plan to make that happen.
More information about that will become available later this Summer.
Our Student Art Gallery
But most important, we hope that our local high schools, despite COVID-19 will be able to participate. We will for certain include any projects the high schools have published and all that are available for live showing. Afterall, that is why we do this. We are putting out our “Open Call” to Wilsonville High School and Canby High School.
Our Silent Auction
will go live once again!
We are hopeful that our donors will be able to contribute in some way again this year. With everyone’s safety in mind, we plan to launch once again our very popular auction beginning at the GALA Opening Night and extending live through the weekend.
