2023 Charbonneau Festival of the Arts

Join us September 22-24, 2023, in the Village at Charbonneau in Wilsonville, Oregon,
for “Arts with Flair”, the 39th Charbonneau Festival of the Arts.

This year’s festival will include a Fine Art Gallery and Artisan Vendor Shows (inside booths), student artwork from area high schools, jazz music performances, and our always popular silent auction fundraiser. Fee information, requirements, and key dates are included on the registration pages but here are few important upfront facts:

Fine Artists have the option of exhibiting up to five (5) juried pieces in the Fine Art Gallery, participating in the Festival Gift Store with packaged art and cards, and/or joining the Vendor Booth Show. See more

Vendor Booth Show for Artisans and Non-Artisans will be asked to submit five (5) photos for jury, to include a booth shot. All vendor exhibits are indoors (no canopies) with space up to 8×8. One six-foot table is provided with or without power. See more

Our Jazz@Charbonneau Music Stage performers will perform in the outdoor covered pavilion and throughout our festival venues and will feature area jazz musicians. See more here.

Event Schedule

Event hours are Friday, September 22, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm for the Opening Night Celebration with tickets on sale beginning in August, Saturday 10-4, and Sunday 10-4. Saturday and Sunday show admission is free to the public.

The Fine Art Gallery artist check-in Vendor booth setup will be instructions and details provided directly to juried in entrants.

GALA Opening Night Celebration
Friday Sept 22, 6-9pm

Charbonneau Festival of the Arts opens Friday, September 22, with the ever popular Opening Night Celebration in the new Activities Center. Small bites will be passed, and champagne will be poured to the sounds of guitarist Kevin Kerrick in the Hazel Glade Room, while the Silent Auction opens for bidders in the Kalapuya Room next door.

Online tickets tickets will be $15 and available ahead of the opening night. $20 at the door.

Fine Art Gallery & Artisan Vendor Show

We will present the amazing art of so many who apply every year, All except student participants are juried. Buyers come from throughout the Portland and Willamette Valley areas of Oregon. The event is advertised and promoted in Portland metropolitan area newspapers and newsletters, through numerous County Art networks, and via Facebook and Instagram ads and public relations activities. Emerging Artists

Charbonneau Arts Association invites adult art students to exhibit at the 39th Annual Charbonneau Festival of the Arts, Each student artist may submit one framed painting for display as part of an “Emerging Artists” section in the Fine Art Gallery. Cost to display is $25.

The application is a simple online form and payment may be made at the same time using PayPal.

But always important is the purpose for our annual festival. We are putting out our “Open Call” to Wilsonville High School and Canby High School.

We will keep you updated about this show as we know more.

We are hopeful that our artists, artisans, and local business donors will be able to contribute in some way again this year. With everyone’s safety in mind, we plan to launch once again our very popular auction beginning at the Opening Night Celebration.
