CHARBONNEAU FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
To Go  LIVE and VIRTUAL for 2121
SAVE THE DATE – November 5, 6, & 7, 2021

(Wilsonville, Oregon, May 30, 2021). Organizers of the Charbonneau Festival of the Arts (CFA), announced “Art with Flair” – Charbonneau Festival of the Arts 2021 save the dates recently.  After a year of wondering whether to go live or virtual, it was announced this past week that planning is underway for both.  This year’s live event will take place live on November 5, 6 & 7, 2021 at the Charbonneau Country Club Activity Center.  In addition artists and musicians are invited to participate again virtually.  The Virtual Exhibition will continue this year after a successful run during COVID-19 last fall.  The Virtual Show will extend through the end of the year.  The ever popular and one of the event’s primary fundraisers, the festival Silent Auction will begin virtually October 30th, with the live auction launching with the opening night “Gala” on November 5th at 5:00.  Both the virtual and live auctions will end Sunday, November 6th at noon.  Plans are also underway to “showcase” local student art works and special projects live throughout the venue and online.

The festival celebrates it’s 38th year in 2021.  There will be a few exciting changes which will be announced later this summer.  Sponsors are already responding positively to the return of the traditional live event and will be featured throughout at both the Live and Virtual venues.

The festival organizers stressed they will continue to their focus on maintaining the fundraising goals of the event, with the Silent Auction taking center stage to raise funds in support of arts education for students in Wilsonville and Canby.  Artists, Artisans Vendors, and local Jazz and Classical performing Musicians will be invited to participate in the live event, but with the added ability to showcase their art in the Virtual Exhibition just like last year through  the holidays and to the end of 2021.

The Call to Artists will be released the beginning of July, 2021.
