Charbonneau Arts Association presents the Oregon Old Time Fiddlers’ Association (OOTFA) Spring Jamboree as a part of their Charbonneau Arts Music Series.
The Oregon Old Time Fiddlers’ Association (OOTFA) is a nonprofit organization with representation across the nation. As their motto states, the organization is dedicated to the perpetuation and promotion of old time music. Old time music is loosely defined as that played on traditional instruments dating from the first half of the 20th century and earlier. Many of the tunes they play date from the 18th century.
May 19, 2024, Spring Jamboree will be performed by members of the Oregon Old Time Fiddlers Association (OOTFA), at the Charbonneau Clubhouse in Wilsonville, Oregon, hosted by the Charbonneau Arts Association. Proceeds of the event go to supporting teachers and students in the performing arts programs at Wilsonville and Canby High Schools.
FREE Educational Workshops are open to students and adults who want to learn to play Americana Acoustic music; bring your violin, guitar, bass, or mandolin.
