Organizers of the Charbonneau Festival of the Arts (CFA), announces “Art with Flair – The Virtual Exhibition.” For the entire month of October, the virtual show will present a gallery art show featuring all major art media formats with artist, artisan, and musician portfolios and profiles, routing to their websites and social media for purchase. Plans are also underway to showcase local student art works and special projects. In addition, the fund-raising silent auction will go virtual as well, beginning in October.
Many fundraising efforts for artists have already begun, and one of them involves Subashini Ganesan, Portland's Creative Laureate, and Kim Stafford, Oregon's Poet Laureate.

So many more to thank. Last month, we reported about our annual Award Reception and our presentation of donation grants to the Canby and Wilsonville high schools. This year the proceeds from our fund-raising—primarily the annual Charbonneau Arts Festival—provided the resources to donate $4,000 each to the art programs at these two schools.
